2016 | Skripsi | FMIPAA research on physical study of molasses processing into bioethanol as alternative energy using Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast bread fermipan with 22 grams for every 150 ml of molasses mixed with 300 ml of water. This research was conducted with the variation of fermentation time consists of three levels, respectively 24, 36 and 48 hours. Fermented is purified by distillation processes. Ethanol and energy content of bioethanol is tested. Ethanol content testing is using gas chromatography instrument and energy content testing is using a bomb calorimeter. The results showed that there was a major influence on the bead and fermentation time of bioethanol produced. The maximum ethanol content was obtained (46.3 ± 0.5)% at 48 hours fermentation time variations. The maximum energy content is obtained (23 ± 0.1) X102 cal/g at 48 hours fermentation time variations.
