The research of solar radiation exposure to male balb/c strain mice (Mus Musculus) has been conducted. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect caused by solar radiation exposure with variation intensity to the number of red blood cells (RBC) and hemoglobin (HGB). In this research, mice (Mus Musculus) as the test sample divided by five groups, one control group and four test groups. The test groups were exposed to solar radiation with different intensities 529.14 ± 0.05 W/m2 ; 389.25 ± 0.05 W/m2 ; 340.89 ± 0.05 W/m2 and 245.84 ± 0.05 W/m2. The test groups were given radiation in 20 minutes per day for 15 days. The blood test results has been obtained plotted into graph and statistical test performed by the method of one way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). The results showed decreasing number of RBC and HGB on mice (Mus musculus). The higher of the solar radiation intensity can be reduced the number of RBC and HGB of mice (Mus Musculus).

Kata Kunci : Solar radiation intensity, Mice (Mus musculus), Red blood cells (RBC), Hemoglobin (HGB)
