In this study, 2 inversion models were performed with 2 different MT data. First data was rotated by the modus of tipper strikes within every station, thus every station would have different angles of rotation. Second data was rotated by the modus of tipper strikes from all stations, thus every station was rotated in the same angle of rotation. The second data and its model resulted lower global rms error value, therefore the second model had been used for interpretation. The second model shows vertical-dipping conductor at ~8 km depth. The vertical-dipping conductor is interpreted as intrusive magma which was up flowing through the Sumatra fault system acted as a pathway. The second model and its interpretation can explain the cause of negative gravity anomaly in the study area, also could explain geochemical analysis results which was indicating magmatic water existence within hot springs manifestation around the study area. The lower limit of smectite alteration is interpreted to be at a depth of 500 m below sea level.
