2016 | Skripsi | FMIPAThe measurement of dominant and minimum frequency of three kind of birds has been done. It was conducted by recording the song of spotted munia (spice finch), silvereyes, and tailorbirds, which are exposed to background noise. Noise intensity was varied by 45,6 dB (without noise), 60,2 dB (low level noise), 68,5 dB (mid level noise), and 76,3 dB (high level noise). Sampling was carried out based on day and noise intensity variation. The recorded song was analyzed using SpectraPLUS-DT Software to find dominant frequency and Audacity Software to find minimum frequency of the song. The result show that increasing occurred only in minimum frequency of all tested birds with average value 73,65 Hz. The research proves that background noise can cause a change in acoustics properties of birdsongs
