Research of the application ultrasonics has carried out by the non destructive testing to detection of internal cracks in solid object, made by the author with five variations within cracks and without cracks. The purpose of this research is designed a tool type a measure the distance of cracks using ultrasonic sensor with the frequency work 40 KHz and oscilloscope as reflected of ultrasonic wavefrom in solid object. In the single transmitter and dual receiver, the method is similar to pulse reflected, which have more than one receiver. An ultrasonic signal generated by the pulse generator, and transducer connected to the transmitter. Ultrasonic waves emitted at the concrete specimen, will suffer attenuation until received by receiving transducer. Concrete that author made consisting a mixture of sand and cement with the ratio of 1:1. The research result indicate that shorter of the crack distance then amplitude of the waveform will be greater and reserve earlier, if the crack distance farther then the amplitude resulting smaller. The measurement result on tool have error 5.8 % and 5 % error at the receiver 2
