A Demi linear mapping is a generalisation of linear mapping which preserves several properties of the linear mapping, either in R or more general vector space. In this research, we study about demi linear mappings from R into R and their properties, we also study those mapping on topological vector spae. Furthermore, we characterize demi linear mapping as a matrix transformation from lq(X) into lp(Y ), where 1 ? p; q < 1 and X; Y are Banach space.
