UNJUK KERJA ANTENA REFLEKTOR TORUS PARABOLIK; PERFORMANCE ANTENNA REFLECTOR TORUS PARABOLIC

Antenna is one of the important tools of a radio telescope installation, before it is further processed through other devices until finally gained a clear picture of the object to be observed. Antenna reflector that is widely used in parabolic radio telescope, the rest there are cylindrical and torus footage. The main purpose of this study was to design a parabolic reflector geometries, torus, which is expected to work more optimally than with conventional reflector. As in the general antenna, reflector characteristics are determined by the level of reinforcement (gain) and the efficiency of its work. Based on the analysis on physical magnitudes are identified, obtained a description that theoretically torus reflector parabolic antenna geometries, can be said to be superior compared to conventional parabolic antenna, which is characterized by much greater value and efficiency reinforcement works.
