2016 | Disertasi | FMIPAThe rapid development of technology has made it easier for everyone to generate video data with a variety of equipment from simple mobile devices to sophisticated video recording equipment. This simplicity results in the amount of video data that is uncontrollable, causing problems of identification, data management and content based video retrieval. Therefore a tool to supports video retrieval based on content instead of file name is needed. Annotation MPEG-7 is a tool to provide annotation on the key frame in a video. Annotations made using the standard description of the contents of MPEG-7 is a standard description of the contents of the video, not compression. Results of a video annotations are stored in an xml document. MPEG-7 annotation system and retrieval of video support key frame extraction, annotation and retrieval of video. Key frame extraction using chi-square resulting in a key frame automatically. Key frame generated annotation based description of the contents by key object, static_scene and events. This research resulted in the system to make annotations to the video key frame in accordance with the standard MPEG-7 and made retrieval of video based annotation that has saved into xml document. Annotations are stored can be searched based on specific keywords that generate key frame that contain rich content according to the key.
