2016 | Disertasi | FMIPAAvailability of green open space in urban area has been important issue. The purpose of providing green open space in urban area is to create a comfortable urban space. The aim of this research develop a group decision support system (GDSS) to assist municipal government of Samarinda in determining the order of location to choose from a number of location who fit the criteria. GDSS developed in this research using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process), TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution), and internal aggregation geometric mean to determine group decision. AHP method is used to determine the weight of parameter by decision maker. TOPSIS method is used to determine the ranking of alternatives, based on the concept in which the best alternative chosen, not only has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution, but also has the longest distance from the negative ideal solution. The most suitable region for green open space indicated by the highest value of alternative closeness coefficient. Result of this research is an system used for the selection of green open space location based on predefined parameters. The test result on the system can provide order of alternative location that can be used as recommendation for decision maker to choose green open space location.
