Dengue virus is a virus that causes the disease commonly referred to as dengue fever (DD), dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and dengue shock syndrome (SSD). The disease is included in the KLB status for Benjamin Guluh Hospital District. Kolaka. With the entry of the disease in outbreaks status then there are a lot of case/patient to be handled every year even every month. Symptoms of a patient diagnosed with disease caused by dengue virus tend to be similar. Case Based Reasoning (CBR) is one method that is capable of reasoning or solving problems based on cases that have been there as a solution to a new problem. The system built in this research is the CBR system for the diagnosis of the disease caused by the dengue virus. The process of diagnosis is done by inserting new problems (target case) to be compared with the old cases (source case) to calculate the value of similarity. This study used a Bayesian model for the purpose of accelerating the process of indexing and retrieval process for the similarity using the nearest neighbor. Tests carried out by using 54 cases as test data taken at random from the overall study data 139 cases and 85 cases are used as the base case. Scenario testing is done in 2 ways: without indexing (Nearest Neighbor) produces a sensitivity of 98.14 % accuracy rate of 99.25 % and using indexing (Bayesian model) generate value sensitivity of 88.89 % accuracy rate of 95.56 %, so that the test results were obtained, it can be said that the CBR system using Bayesian models produce sentivitas level and accuracy of the system is lower compared with using the nearest neighbor
