The relocation of aftershocks around the Opak fault, after the Yogyakarta earthquake May 26, 2006 using Velocity Coupled Hypocenter, assuming that the earth heterogeneous isotropic, so consider the P and S wave velocity as a function of depth. The velocity structure of the P and S wave particular the region of Yogyakarta, is expected to determine the source of an earthquake that might occur in the Yogyakarta area accurately. The structure of the P and S wave velocity can be obtained by the Velocity Coupled Hypocenter method. The relocation distribution of aftershocks showed a tendency 3 patterns that one fault trending Southwestern - Northeast, located about 10-12 km to the east and parallel Opak fault and 2 faults trending East - Northwest that the distance between 2 faults is about 4-6 km. While the velocity structure of the P and S wave as function of depth in Yogyakarta region are respectively 0-9 km is 5.87 km/s; 10-19 km is 5.88 km/s; 20-34 km is 6.52 km/s; 35-40 km is 8 km/s, while the S wave velocity in a row is 0-2 km is 3.32 km/s; 3-6 km is 3.39 km/s; 7-19 km is 3.52 km/s; 20-29 km is 3.76 km/s; 30-34 km is 3.77 km/s; 35-40 km is 4.62 km/s.
