2016 | Skripsi | FMIPACitrus plant is an annual fruit crop coming from ASIA. Citrus crop cultivation is influenced by various factors such as cultivation techniques, environmental conditions, pests and diseases. Among these three factors, pests and diseases are the the persistent problem. Pests is one of the causes of low productivity on citrus plants. This study will help in identifying pests on citrus crops by applying the Case Based Reasoning System. The similarity calculation using the Euclidean Distance methode The results showthe Case Based Reasoning System can be used as a tool in identifying pests that attack citrus plants by calculating the similarity between new problems with old cases using the Euclidean Distance. Testing threshold value by using the data of 145 cases, the threshold value on case Based Reasoning System is at 0.75 with 100% accuracy. The use of a threshold will effect on accuracy in determining the outcome of the identification system. The higher the threshold value will be, the more precise the identification system will be in delivering results, and vice versa.
