Increased consumer needs of the fisheries sector into an opportunity to generate more opportunities for farmers to maximize revenue. To reduce overfishing in nature then, fish farming was developed to provide a solution will be other sources in the procurement of fish, apart from the arrest. Farmers will be greatly assisted if the appropriate instructions if there is an application selection of the type of fish to make decisions through good planning before determining the type of fish to be cultivated. This research used the method of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) as a decision support to resolve these problems. This study uses four criteria: the characteristics of land, capital, selling points, and physical fish. Each criterion had several sub - sub criteria. The types of fish that an alternative solution that is White Seabass, Carpet Cod, Polka-dot Grouper, Silver Pompano, and Red Snapper. Results of this study are output of ranking, the silver pompano fish species as a recommendation of the best lucrative fish species to be cultivated in an area of Batam with the final weight of 35.358. When compared with using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the results showed the same result, namely Silver Pompano, with a final weight of 34.79.
