KINERJA SPEKTROMETER FOTOAKUSTIK LASER CO2 UNTUK DETEKSI GAS ETILEN(C2H4), ASETON(C3H6O), AMONIA(NH3) PADA GAS HEMBUS PEROKOK; PERFORMANCE OF THE CO2 LASER PHOTOACOUSTIC SPECTROMETER FOR DETECTING ETHYLENE(C2H4), ACETONE(C3H6O), AMMONIA(NH3) GAS OF SMOKER BREATH

2016 | Disertasi | FMIPAPerformance of photoacoustic spectrometer had been optimized and applied. The characterization performed included CO2 laser and absorption lines scanning, determined resonance curve and quality factor, then measurement of noise thus obtained the quality factor of (14,5 + 0,6), (14,8 + 0,7), and (14,2 + 0,6) and the lowest detection limit for this setup was (57,1 + 0,4) ppb, (63,8 + 2,4) ppb, and (81,1 + 0,6) ppb for ethylene, acetone, ammonia gas in 10P14, 10P20, 10R14 CO2 laser line. Then, this photoacoustic spectrometer was used to measure gas concentration of ethylene, acetone, ammonia breath sample of people. Gas retrieval method was done by offline and non invasive. The result from experiment show that photoacoustic spectrometer with multicomponent analysis method and we obtained the high average of ethylene, acetone, ammonia gas concentration for human breath was 1.303 ppm, 0.924 ppm, dan 1.753 ppm. Before smoking, average of ethylene, acetone, ammonia gas concentration was 0.873 ppm, 0.286 ppm, dan 1.137 ppm, one hour after smoking, average of ethylene, acetone, ammonia gas concentration was 0.901 ppm, 0.305 ppm, dan 1.176 ppm. According to this research, there was unique result that one hour after smoking, the average of ethylene, acetone, ammonia gas concentration will be have same concentration value before the people smoking and improving concentration of gas result significantly after people smoking exactly.
