The concept of -weakly compatible mappings is a generalization of the concept of compatible mappings. Let and ( ) be -weakly compatible multi-valued and single-valued mappings recpectively. It can be proved that and have a coincidence point. Furthermore, we study the existence of common fixed point for multi-valued and single-valued mappings, using -weakly compatible mappings. In addition, the concept of weakly compatible between a non-self set-valued mapping ( ) and a non-self single-valued mapping is used as a tool for proving the existence of common fixed point theorem for two non-self multi-valued mapping and a single-valued mapping.
