previous study, this field has a lot of petroleum resourses, thus it is needed a study to determine reservoir characterization and mapping lithology distribution of the reservoir. This research used seismic 3D post-stack time migration, well data, checkshot, and well top. Acoustic impedance and density inversions were used in this research. Then, those inversions were used to identify the sandstones distributions, depositional facies, and to determine the location of the development well in Aulia field. The results of this study show that the acoustic impedance value of sandstones are 15000 - 18000 (ft/s)*(g/cc), has density 2,05-2,20 g/cc, and has high porosity value (15 – 37,5%). From gamma-ray analysis, it can be concluded that the depositional facies environment is delta front, i.e. direction of South – North. The results of the parameters analysis can be correlated with the probability method to determine the location of development well. From this analysis, A - 2 well is recommended for development.
