Many scientists have focused their research on the ULF geomagnetic field to find possible anomalous signals caused by the seismic activity. Thereafter, many papers have reported ULF geomagnetic field polarization ratio increases which have been claimed to be related to the occurrence of moderate and strong earthquake. On 7 and 31 March 2014, Lampung earthquake (magnitude 5.1 and 5.3) hit near the LWA station. Geomagnetic data from LWA and SCN station have been analyzed to detect any signature related to this moderate earthquake.
The relation between earthquake magnitude and epicenter distance to geomagnetic station consistently indicates a relationship which satisfies 0.025 R
