KARAKTERISASI DAN ANALISA GUGUS FUNGSI PADA MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLE (MNPS) NICKEL FERRITE (NiFe2O4) YANG DILAPISI DENGAN SILIKA (SiO2); CHARACTERIZATION AND BONDING ANALYSIS OF SILICA (SiO2) COATED MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLE (MNPS) NICKEL FERRITE (NiFe2O4)

2016 | Skripsi | FMIPANiFe2O4 have been successfully synthesized by co-precipitation method. NiFe2O4 synthesis through mixing NiCl2.H2O and FeCl3.H2O with temperature of 60° C, stirring time of 60 minutes, stirring speed 1000rpm, and NaOH 10 M as copresipitant. Then made coating the surface NiFe2O4 using silica with varying concentrations of 50%, 30%, 20%, 15%, 10%, and 5%. Structure and particle size have been analyzed by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). XRD test results showed a decrease in the lattice parameter of NiFe2O4 after coating with silica silica at 0.093 Å. TEM test results showed that after NiFe2O4 functionalized with silica magnification size of particle change from 4.11 ± 0,01 nm to 20.59 ± 0,01 nm increase 16,48 nm. Bonding analysis of functional groups was performed using Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR). FTIR test result showed displacement of wave number have been occurs in sample. At wave number 396 cm-1 and 592 cm-1 occurs bonding between metal ion (Ni and Fe) with oxygen become (M-O) that indicate present of ferrite in sample . At wave number 960 cm-1 occurs Si-O-Fe bonding that indicate interaction between ironIII and silica. At wave number 1097 cm-1 and 815 cm-1 occurs Si-O-Siasymetric and Si-O-Sisymetric bonding that indicate interaction between silica and oxygen.
