In this reseach RMS velocity was used for PSTM, PSDM used interval velocity. These processes aims clearer subsurface seismic image, due to the presence of complex structures and variation on the reflectors. In this study coherency inversion and horizon-based tomography were used to perform PSDM. The result shows that the 2D cross-section from PSDM processing display clearer seismic reflectors . The weaknesses and strengths of PSTM and PSDM depend on the velocity model that were used. PSDM revearls more obvious position and continuation of reflectors, but the result of PSDM are clearer than PSTM. RMS velocity model can only identify vertical velocity, while the model of interval velocity can identify lateral velocity.
