Asri basin has been shown to contain hydrocarbon. Exploration and exploitation on Talang Akar formation, Gita member, has been done for years. Decreasing production has led to further exploration. In this research, exploration conducted between the top of Banuwati formation and the bottom of Zelda member, Talang Akar formation to search for hydrocarbon potential. The acoustic impedance inversion method is used to determine sand and shale lithology of target zone which located in Lower Zelda formation at 8000 ft of depth. Seismic data and well log are used as a parameter to do the inversion process.The Sweetness attribute is used to locate the potential hydrocarbon area. Based on this research, the average cut off value from acoustic impedance and gamma ray is between 25.000 to 30.000 ft/s*g/cc. The average porosity value at the reservoir is between 15 % to 30 %. Sand lithology shows its domintaes on Manik 01, Manik 02, and Manik 03 wells. The Reservoir spreads to south west direction. The depositional environmet is alluvial fan. Two suggested points of drilling well ( Nastya 1 and Nastya 2 ) located in the north and north east area of Rodionova field.
