MONITORING NIRKABEL VOLUME AIR DALAM TANGKI MENGGUNAKAN XBEE; WIRELESS MONITORING OF WATER VOLUME IN THE TANK USING XBEE

2015 | Skripsi | FMIPARemote monitoring has been much needed in supporting the activities of the company or industry. Examples of these cases is monitoring water reservoirs are located are difficult to reach by the operator. The state of water reservoirs that are difficult to reach this led to delays in the process of monitoring should be done continuously in real time. Seeing these conditions need a system that can remotely monitor wirelessly shelter. This system was designed using HC-SRF04 ultrasonic sensor as distance sensor, Arduino Uno Rev.3, Arduino Ethernet Shield, XBee series 1, LCD 16x2, XBee shield, and Buzzer. This system started from end device 1 and end device 2 detected of fluid level, then that fluid level was converted using a volume formula, then the result from each end device would be displayed at LCD and sent broadcastly to coordinator node (server node) with one-way communication. And then the output was displayed at web browser. The users can access and monitor fluid level data in the tank using web browser with definited local IP. Each device set buzzer as warning alarm when the volume of fluid in the tank limits, it`s would shound. From the test results show an ultrasonic sensor can measure height of liquid with good accuracy. The test results on the measurement of the volume of the two tanks diameter of 23 cm had an average difference of the measuring scale of 0,02 and 0,05 liter. Reach capasity of XBee is influenced several factors, such the presence of noise arround the XBee which could distrube the signal, and it`s could be caused the XBee position when did the data transmition.
