Cultivation of goldfish is a good business which have catched the society’s interest. By considering the breadth of Indonesian waters which are so supportive, and the amount of goldfish consumption demand while the the supplies of goldfish are still limited because of several prolems which have been experienced by the goldfish farmers. Therefore, this business has a big opportunity to be developed. Several problems that have been experienced by the goldfish farmers are pests, diseases, poor feeding and environmental conditions which are not good. With the limited knowledge that has been had by goldfish farmers, it is hard for them to identify the problems that they face in the cultivation of goldfish. Besides, there are limitations of the experts for the consultation of the cultivation of goldfish. Thus, it is necessary to have a media that can help the consultation for the cultivation of the goldfish that has expert system basis to help the farmers of the goldfish. Expert system prototype which is established applies the searching method by using forward chaining and uncertainty of assessment methods using Dempster Shafer. The uncertainty in the form of the subsumption of the principles of the rules if there is a same conclusion and is used by the other subsumptions then there is a conflict resolution. The largest priority rule that will be chosen if there is a conflict resolution among rules because every rules that have been made are in order. Dempster Shafer Method is used to find the problem of this expert system and measure the level of trust of the solution, so that this method allows a safe in doing the work of an expert. The result of this research can give a consultation media for the goldfish farmers to identify the problems of goldfish cultivation, able to give solutions to solve the problems and convidence level system against problems. System testing is done with the results of the expert with the value 90% accuracy.
