In this thesis we discuss about formulation of multiobjective nurse scheduling problem where both nurse shift preferences as a proxy for job satisfaction and patient workload as a proxy for patient dissatisfaction are considered in this model. Moreover, reformulation of nurse scheduling model into single objective form with goal programming approach which is applied on ICU nurse scheduling in RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri regency will be discussed. The created model is based on the hospital regulation, nurse preferences, and patient workload. The objectives we consider are maximize nurses satisfaction in term of working shift and holiday selection, minimize assignment of the nurse chief into evening and night shift, minimize off - on - off and on - off - on shift pattern, and minimize patient dissatisfaction. Furthermore, this model will be implemented using LINGO software so that the best result of nurse scheduling will be achieved and meet the relevant parties demand.
