2015 | Disertasi | FMIPAIn Supply Chain Management every stage in the supply chain is often difficult to determine the amount of product demand to control inventory. The problem occurs in inOptics group to determine the softlens demand based forecasting demand. Forecasting demand by inOptics office is based on the entire optical store sales reports. While forecasting demand by the optical store based on sales of each optical store. Problems occur because inOptics office must wait for the sales report sent by all optical store. In this study developed an inventory control application that is integrated to forecast demand and determine the optimal amount of softlens to be ordered by the office inOptics and every optical store. Demand forecasting using Triple Exponential Smoothing because softlens sales are seasonal and indicate a trend. Results of forecasting is used to determine the number of ordering softlens using Periodic Review Policy. Based on testing future forecasting error, the accuracy of forecasting in inOptics is 42.99%, Indra Optik Blitar is 51.55%, Indra Optik Tulungagung is -426.25% and Indra Optik Kediri is -24.10%. The accuracy of forecasting results are influenced by the type of calendar that is the real data using Hijri calendar, while forecasting using AD calendar.
