KERNEL BAHANG PADA TORUS DAN SILINDER; HEAT KERNELS ON TORUS AND CYLINDER

2015 | Disertasi | FMIPASolutions of heat equation on Riemannian manifold have been analyzed. It was known that the solution of heat equation can be calculated via integration using kernel which is compatible with the boundary conditions on the manifold. For manifolds that were formed from several other manifolds, such as product manifolds, the heat kernels can be calculated by utilizing the informations that were already known from each constituent manifolds. The heat kernels on torus and cylinder have been calculated for various boundary conditions. Numerical simulations using heat kernel to visualize the distribution of temperature have also been done.
