STUDI PENGARUH UKURAN BUTIRPARTIKELDAN STRUKTUR KRISTAL TERHADAP SIFAT DIELEKTRIKNANOPARTIKELCOPPER FERRITE(CuFe2O4); STUDY EFFECT OF GRAIN SIZE AND CRYSTAL STRUCTURES ON DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF COPPER FERRITE (CuFe2O4) NANOPARTICLES

2015 | Disertasi | FMIPAWe have studied dielectric properties of copper ferrite (CuFe2O4) nanoparticles synthesized by coprecipitation method. X-ray diffraction pattern indicated that all the samples have invers spinel structure and have particle size in the range 5.37 nm to 13.4 nm estimated by Schererr equation. The dielectric measurement was conducted by impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range 10–120 kHz using a pellet was compacted by pressure about 50.000 N. Dielectric real constant (??), imaginary dielectric (??), and impedance (Z) are decreasing as the frequency increase, while the loss tangent is increasing as the frequency increase. Therefore, study dielectric properties dependence grain size and crystal structure show that the dielectric real part (??), imaginary part (??) and impedance decrease while the loss tangent increase as the grain size increase. Sample which has grain size 5.37 nm, show the highest dielectric properties with real dielectric constant 414.4; imaginary dielectric 296.4; loss tangent 0.72, and impedance (Z) 139.8 at frequency 10 kHz.
