In this thesis, we will discuss a mathematical model for nurse scheduling using fuzzy modeling approach. The developed model accounts both hospital’s rules and nurse’s preferences. Fuzzy modeling is used to handle the uncertainty of target value that will be achieved by hospital management or nurses. The membership fuction of each objective function is determined based on condition in hospital. In this paper we apply a model to solve nurse scheduling in RSUD Wates. To find the optimal solution, it will be used LINGO.
