More Internet users and accessibility of mobile equipment prices have an impact on increasing access the Internet at UGM-Hotspot area of Computer Science Graduate. As a first step in achieving an effort to improve Internet network services that optimally meet the needs of users of Internet services, required accurate measurements of the quality of network services-Hotspot UGM Graduate Computer Science, University of Gadjah Mada that has never been done before. Once the measurement method Measurement with only a few studies considered less accurate in measuring performance Internet network services. These researchers do measure performance Internet network services with methods Fixed Daily Measurement Interval (FDMI) and Once Measurements at UGM-Hotspot Computer Science Graduate area so that can know the accuracy of the measurement performance of Internet services using both methods, resulting in accurate performance measurement. So it can be used as the conclusions and recommendations of materials for the administrator to ensure the quality of Internet services. FDMI method is carried out continuously at the highest traffic for 30 days, it represents the maximum performance network to serve many users of the Internet. This is because in the process of measurement, methods FDMI done during the highest traffic and conducted for 30 days continuously. Performance network services-Hotspot Internet at UGM Graduate Computer Science, University of Gadjah Mada have quality levels delay of 131 milidetik is acceptable for many applications. Large throughput of 78 MBps and utilization of 65% were categorized according to the standardization of TIPHON nice but has a value of packet loss ratio of 20% were categorized according to the standardization TIPHON is ugly. This is mainly due to the number of users who access the internet service at rush hour. Factors collision or crash / collision between the data on the network affects all applications on the LAN and WAN networks for retransmission will reduce overall network efficiency despite ample amount of bandwidth available for these applications.

Kata Kunci : delay; packet loss ratio; Bandwidth; throughput ; utilisasi link.
