This thesis discusses infiltration problems from trapezoidal furrow in different types of homogeneous soils in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The governing equation of the problems is a Richard equation. This equation is then transformed using a set of transformations, including Kirchoff and dimensionless variables into Helmholtz modified equation. A numerical method, called DRBEM, is used to obtain numerical solution of the problems. Numerical results show that sandy soil types contain more water than clay soil types.
