2015 | Tesis | FMIPAInternet technology can be used for on-line learning which is often called e- Learning. The realization of e-Learning system is known as a Learning Management System (LMS). Many existing LMS is used as a form of extending classroom learning conducted without involving their own learning. LMS is focused on the availability of content and delivery to learners uniformly to the user. LMS ignores aspects of personalization as a result the system is not adaptive and interactive. This research involves the development of LMS with personalization. Personalization based models of learning styles Felder Silverman (FSLSM). Personalization of e-Learning includes the personalization of learning materials and personalized presentation of the learning process. Personalization of learning materials based on the dominance of learning styles of learners that includes the use of teaching strategies, teaching media and content materials used for learning. Personalize the presentation of the learning process is the basic structure of learning as a unique interface appropriate learning styles of learners. Identification of learning styles in e-Learning system personalization is done through instruments index learning styles (ILS) and the detection of relevant behavior patterns. Detection of relevant behavior patterns is the track record of the behavior of learners in using the system. Relevant behavior patterns mapped according FSLSM dimensions in order to obtain the evaluation of learning styles. Ontology is used as an important part to represent the personalization of e-Learning as well as the realization of the semantic knowledge resources. Implemented ontology is used to organize content according GBPP, relations with the learning style of teaching strategies, teaching media and the performance of learners. The test results personalized e-Learning model obtained the similarity degree of identification learning styles in each FSLSM dimension (Active / Reflexive, Sensitive / Intuitive, Visual / Global and Sequential / Global) between ILS and automatic detection of relevant behavior patterns are more than 70%. Testing paired t-test for learners performance during the use e-learning systems that involve personalization is better than not involve personalization. Therefore, personalized e-Learning system developed has successfully accommodate the learning styles and be able to enhance the performance of learners.
