2015 | Skripsi | FMIPAThe expression is the disclocure of emotions inside of someone. The basic emotion which aren’t involved the other emotions like angry, fear, disgust, surprise, sad, happy and neutral. Different with a computer system, humans have eyes to see and feel the expression of someone. OpenCV, as an API basic learning of digital image processing has a library that can extract the characteristic of face. Eigenface, fisherface, LBPH (Local Binnary Pattern Histogram) are method that’re in that API. In this study, compare that method to recognize the basic human facial expression of compyter system which are in API OpenCV. Then OpenCV method are compare with a recognition by human as subject of this study to recognize the basic expression of human. The result is fisherface more superior than eigenface and LBPH with the recognition rate 88,52%, false positive 7 of 61 and error system 11,48% at dataset JAFFE and calculation recognition by subject only can compare the positive and negative expressions.
