In this paper, it will be discussed the modeling in optimizing patients ward placement to decrease its cost. This optimization is aimed to anticipate the increasing number of demand. Markov decision processes is used to model the problem of optimum solution. The minimum cost of n period is calculated with dynamic programming. Every possibility state is constructed by patients arrival and departure matrix. To understand the concept, this paper has done trials by taking two periods and selecting decision rule in every period.
