Heavy metals in coal, bottom ash and fly ash of Pacitan coal-fired power plant have been analyzed separately using NAA, XRF and ICP-OES methods. The purposes of this study were to determine the correlation of analysis results from the three methods and to determine the value of Enrichment Ratio (ER) and Enrichment Factor (EF) of bottom ash and fly ash. Before analysis, the samples were first prepared by grounding them to pass 170 mesh, testing the homogeneity, and determiningits water content. The analytical results obtained bythese three methods were compared by plotting the data so that the correlation coefficient could be obtained. The results identification of 10 heavy metals in coal, bottom ash and fly ash samples that are Al, Fe, Ti, Ba, Sr, Zn, Cr, Co, La, and Cd. The correlation coefficients for coal analysis results using NAA vs XRF, and XRF vs ICP-OES were found to be 1,0000, on the other hand ICP-OES vs NAA were found to be 0.9916. Meanwhile the correlation coefficients for bottom ash and fly ash analysis results by using XRF vs NAA, XRF vs ICP-OES and ICP-OES vs NAA method were found to be R2 ? 0.9950. The major elements in coal such as Al and Fe were within the concentration range of 8.3 to 10.9 g/kg, while minor elements and trace elements such as Ti and Ba ranged from 341.66 to 613.71 mg/kg and Sr, Zn, Cr , Co, La, and Cd ranged from 0.75 to 45.36 mg/kg. The major elements of bottom ash and fly ash such as Al, Fe, Ti, and Ba were within the concentration range of 1.2 to 130.7 g/kg while minor elements and trace elements in bottom ash and fly ash such as Sr, Zn, Cr, and La ranged from 89.71 to 730.51 mg/kg while Co and Cd ranged from 11.86 to 61.99 mg/kg. The values of ER for metals that were identified by using the three methods on bottom ash and fly ash were ?1 and the values of EF were within range of 0 to 1.5. Overall, the values of ER and EF in fly ash were greater than the ones in bottom ash and the data of analysis using the three methods were not significantly difference.
