Benn) is a species from family of Simaroubaceae that West Kalimantan endemic plant and medicinal plant as anticancer.There has never been a publication about cytotoxic compounds, inhibiting proliferation and apoptosis from I. malayana against cervical cancer HeLa cells. The purpose of this study was to obtain cytotoxic compounds, inhibiting proliferation and apoptosis from I. malayana against HeLa cells. This study began with the extraction from part of bark, stem bark, leaves and root of I. malayana by maceration and partition followed separation by chromatography technique (column chromatography vacuum, gravity column chromatography and preparative of thin layer chromatography). Isolates pure physics analysis in the form of melting point. To determine the structure with clear spectroscopic analysis using UV, IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR either onedimensional or two-dimensional. Furthermore, cytotoxic compounds tested, inhibition of proliferation and apoptosis observations on HeLa cells with DNA staining using acrydine orange and ethydium bromide This study gained 7 compounds with one new compound, four compounds of the first found of Irvingia malayana and four compound were known with new activity. The new compound was 3,3'-dimethyl ellagic acid with a new activity (IC50 of 101,6 ?g / mL). The known compounds with new activity were 2- hydroxy-3,2 ', 6'-trimethoxy-4' - (8'.9'-epoxy-7'-hydroxypropyl) -5-etenal-biphenyl (IC50 of 12.47 ?g / mL ); 4,4'-dihydroxy-3,3 ', 5,5'-tetramethoxy-7,9', 7'9- diepoxylignan (IC50 of 22 ?g / mL); gallocathecin (4??8)epigallocathecin 4’.4’’ dimethyl eter (IC50 of 22,6 ?g / mL) and glucoside-?-betulinic acid.
