2015 | Skripsi | FMIPAIn this thesis we present a model in form of mixed integer linear programming (MILP) for optimization of admission planning problem in hospital. This model aims to minimize the utilization deviation of resources in hospital for scheduled inpatients. The utilization is determined by target patient throughtput, available capasity of the resources, and target utilization of the resources. We assume that the resources have same influence on the model. We use branch and bound method to solve the model. Furthermore, we apply the model to data from an especialty orthopaedics hospital. From the result, we can conclude that the model can be used to arrange admission planning in hospitals with the least utilization deviation.
