PEMODELAN MATEMATIKA INFEKSI HPV PADA KANKER SERVIKS MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF HPV INFECTION ON CERVICAL CANCER

Cervical cancer still leading as the most common cancer in some developing countries, including Indonesia. Medical research already proved that Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a necessary cause of cervical cancer. Mathematical modeling of HPV infection on cervical cancer will show the progression from normal cervix to become an invasive cancer. From the analysis we find out that proliferation and apoptosis rate of pre-cancer cells also the maximum progression rate from pre-cancer become an invasive cancer were the most important factor in cervical cancer progression. This mathematical modeling hasn’t done before and will be helpful to decide the best treatment to prevent mortality because of cervical cancer.
