Aplikasi Prosedur Pematalaksanaan Infeksi Menular Seksual; An Application For Sexually Transmitted Infections Treatment Procedure

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) are a group of diseases that is transmitted mainly when it enters into a sexual relationship. STI epidemiologically divided into curabel and non-curable. curabel STI caused by bacteria, protozoa and fungi. Non-kurabel STI is the most important and one of whom is HIV infection leads to AIDS As a form of prevention and treatment of STI patients, the established clinics STI disease treatment in several cities and regency in Indonesia, one of Bintan, Riau Islands by Family Health International (FHI), an international health agency funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Department of Health, Bintan Regancy in 2008. However, since 2010 the contract with FHI completed and the Health Department Bintan still do STI health care services with a mobile system as the first stage to capture cases of STI in high risk areas among others, localizations and entertainment venues. “An Application For Sexually Transmitted Infections Treatment Procedure” developed to support the health services that are mobile with resources (tools, expert and time) are limited,. The application is web-based, with the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database server. These applications include recording (record) of patient data, visits and history, also can find the diagnosis and treatment of cases of STI through the syndromic approach based on complaints and clinical signs, so that can help health care who do not have the manpower and facilities / equipment adequate health.
