Difference equations is the equation that involves the difference of a sequences. In this thesis Z-Transorm used to solve difference equations and Volterra difference equations of convolution type. Z-Transform is a method that transform sequences into a series form. As well as Laplace transforms to solve differential equations, Z-Transform has a similar technique to solve the difference equations. In this thesis discussed the properties of Z-Transform, then the properties of Z- Transform used to solve difference equations and Volterra difference equations of convolution type. Then, given a few examples to illustrate the use of Z-Transform to solve difference equations and Volterra difference equations of convolution type, and theorem about zero solution stability of Volterra difference equations of colvolution type.
