2015 | Skripsi | FMIPACongestion that occurs on the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) network can lead to decreased performance. This causes the TCP becomes unstable or the level of stability decreases. To overcome the problem of congestion, we apply Active Queue Management (AQM) method on TCP to manage the flow of incoming data packets to the router. Problems on TCP network that use AQM method can be modeled mathematically, which is a TCP network model derived follows the stochastic differential equations. Furthermore, pole placement method applied to TCP network model to reduce congestion problems by analyzing the stability properties of the system and built an observer which estimates the TCP window size. The results obtained indicate that the system has a faster rise time, that the time required to reach steady state more rapidly. And then, observer is able to observe the state of the queue in the buffer and provide information to the sender of the magnitude of the queue, so that congestion on the network is reduced.
