Research had been about the quality study for ground water in the manganese mine area of Satar Punda village. Ground water tested was using by villager as clean water resources for daily life. The ground water it self was taken from the wells called Golo Bongko and Lengko Lolok. The purpose of this study is to know the impact of the activity which has occurred on ground water quality in the nearby area of manganese mine. The quality of ground water was determined by measuring physics and chemistry parameters. For the physics parameters, the things which were determined was conductivity, surface tension, refraction index, dissolved solid, whereas the chemistry parameters were measured pH, metal contents (Mn, Fe, NO2, Cl, SO4). The result of this study was compared with maximum rate which was permitted for each measurement paramaters. It showed that basically quality of ground water was still safe and proper to use as clean water resource according to Minister of Health of Indonesia Number 416/Menkes/Per/IV/1990 about the Terms and Water Quality Monitoring.
