2015 | Skripsi | FMIPAThe research of determining groundwater quality around Bantar Gebang landfill in Sumur Batu, Bekasi, West Java, has been done. The purpose of this research is to identify groundwater pollution by leachate based on distance variation from the landfill. The pollution level is determined by some of physical and chemical characteristics measurement in the range 100 m, 200 m and 300 m. The result shows that some of the characteristics have been shifted from the normal condition such as the taste of groundwater, refraction index, conductivity, pH, BOD, COD and NO3. The biggest shift is found in nitrate (NO3) at the number of 85 mg/L which the maximum standard value is 10 mg/L. It means the groundwater has been contaminated by leachate, especially at the nearest range (100 meter) from the landfill.
