The research of bioethanol production from cassava with fermentation process was done. All of the parts of the cassava (including the cover) were used as a raw materials. In this process, yeast with a dose 20 grams per 1,5 kilograms cassava was used in every variation of the fermentation process. The process was done by varying the time of fermentation: 3 days, 7 days, and 10 days. The fermentation results were then distilled with simple distillation tools to produce pure bioethanol. The results of this research indicated that the process of 10 days fermentation produced the highest energy, namely (59 ± 8) x 10 calories / grams. When the energy producedwas compared with the energy used (143,3) calories / grams, the energy produced was greater than the energy used in the process.
