In this thesis, we introduce the concept of a partial cone metric space which is a generalization of a cone metric space. Before describing the properties of partial cone metric spaces and fixed point theorems in the spaces, first we introduce the concept of cone and cone metric spaces, and explain fixed point theorems in cone metric spaces. We also discuss the fixed point theorems for a mapping T : X ! X and common fixed point theorem for a pair of mapping T; S : X ! X in partial cone metric space (X; p).
