In this thesis, We discuss about multilevel model for item response theory (IRT), which consists of One Parameter Logistic Model, Two Parameter Logistics Model, and Three Parameter Logistics and Parameter Estimation in 1 Parameter Logistics Multilevel IRT Model. Estimation methods used in this thesis is Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). There are many softwares that is often used in multilevel modeling for IRT as R, STATA, HLM, etc. Data analysis in this thesis use HLM7.
