In this thesis, we discuss about fixed point theorems for some type of mappings with respect to a !-distance in complete metric spaces and ?-complete metric spaces. One of these mappings is multivalued p-contraction mapping which is a generalization of Nadler contraction mapping. Moreover, we discuss a characterization the completeness of a metric space based on p-contraction mappings which have a fixed point.
