Research of design and implementation has been done to build an information system that was able to combine the ability to analyze the determination of the earthquake parameters and focal mechanism into a single container that based on the Database Management System (DBMS) and Geographic Information System (GIS). These systems was also integrated with the Arclink server provided by BMKG, GFZ and IRIS / USGS, that capable to access the seismic network which is owned by those institutions. The design and implementation of integrated system has a purpose to solve focal mechanism analysis problems in BMKG that still not optimal yet, especially regarding the analysis of the earthquake parameters as a computation input of focal mechanism that was still done separately with different software. This research designed an algorithm are able to communicate with the Arclink port and an extractor to read a format MSeed standard data. Picking results of phase arrival times of the data was processed by Hypo2000 to get the earthquake parameter and then along the P wave first motion data being computation input of focal mechanism. Each analysis result was tabulated and managed in a database and can be served at any time in the form of digital maps. Validation of earthquake parameters of system output indicated a relevant value with the parameters published by GFZ, USGS and BMKG by the standard deviation of the origin time was between (0.665-1.673) seconds, latitude (0.029- 0.109)°, longitude (0.037-0.124)° and depth (6.229-11.853) km. Validation was also performed on focal mechanism parameters which indicate a consistency of parameter value and pattern similarity of beach ball diagram against GFZ and Global CMT publication results. The standard deviation of that validation results for the strike parameter was between (14.553-26.549)°, dip (11.279-12.415)° and the rake (13.479-22.85)°. The Advantages of this system were quite practical, easy, low costs and be able to installed anywhere. However, expertise and precision for an analyst was necessary for using this system.
