2015 | Skripsi | FMIPA UGMThe research to determine the quality of groundwater from Lapindo disaster in Porong, Sidoarjo, East Java has been done. Determination of the quality of groundwater has been conducted on groundwater based on sampling point. The quality of groundwater is determined by using physical characteristic test based on parameters of physics, chemistry, microbiology and heavy metal analysis. The result showed that groundwater as the sample is a contaminated water and the quality of water is poor due to deviations from the normal condition of water, irregularities occurred in some of the test parameters, such as the electrical conductivity, surface tension, refractive index, hardness and dissolved solids. All samples contained E coli but is still under the maximum specified standards. Distance of sampling points affected the level of contamination in a sample. The closer the distance sampling point to the source then the level of the pollution is higher and the farther distance sampling point then the level of pollution is lower. The Sidoarjo mud flow or Lapindo mud negatively affect groundwater and the environment around the impacted location.
