2015 | Skripsi | FMIPA UGMDual Reciprocity Boundary Element Methods (DRBEM) are numerical methods for solving Helmholtz equation with known boundary condition. To solve the Helmholtz equation with DRBEM, we construct a boundary linear equation. This integral equation is then reduced into a system of linear algebraic equation. To reduce the equation, the boundary is discretized into a number of line segments and a number of interior collocation points is chosen. Solving the system of linear algebraic, numerical solutions at collocation points can be obtained. Using the solutions, a numerical solution at any point may be obtained. In this final, a DRBEM is applied to solve two-dimensional acoustic problem governed by a Helmholtz equation. MATLAB programs are required to compute the calculation of this method. The results are presented as the distribution of acoustic pressure.
