Ginger is a kind of herb that has been widely used as an ingredient for health. One determinant of quality ginger is of the quality of essential oils. Ginger is good to have a complex aroma that is composed of a wide variety of chemical compounds, and to identify the aroma is not readily known by lay people, coupled with the influence of the planting site can also distinguish the scent. So to that required an instrument enose based sensor arrays that can identify the scent of ginger. To be able to identify patterns that exist aroma, the resulting data should be analyzed first enose ranging from the analysis of the sensor response, repeatability test, analysis using radar charts and multivariant analysis methods that are effective in analyzing the data is dengjan menggukana PCA method. Aroma of ginger are planted in various places or areas have been successfully identified by enose with sensor TGS 2610, TGS 2602, TGS 2620, TGS 2600 and TGS2611. Ginger sample Bantul has the greatest value that is 151708,9 mV, Dieng of 151123,7 mV, amounting to 143999,1 mV Magelang, Solo amounted to 117541,2 mV and most small Temanggung at 84520,1 mV. Results cumulative percentage variance of two main components to the classification testing each sensor ginger using a 5 variables amounted to 99.56%, while the classification testing each sensor ginger using three variables is equal to 99.39%.

Kata Kunci : Metal oxide gas sensors; PCA; Repeatability electronic nose.
