PENDETEKSIAN SESAR DALAM STUDI KOHERENSI SEISMIK DI LAPANGAN KUMON, CEKUNGAN SUMATRA TENGAH

Seismic coherence is a seismic attribute which shows similarity of each seismic trace from Inline, Crossline, and diagonal directions between inline and crossline. Coherency has been applied in 3D seismic in KUMON field, Rokan PSC (petroleum sharing contract) which is a mature field with 74 production wells to minimize uncertainty of fault continuity. Well log in KUMON field was found different fluid contact in the left and right compartment which identified to be faults that cut the fluid contact. If steam injection keep continuing, and the faults are existed, the steam will flow along the fault trend and reach the surface. The function of this application is to change continuous based volume of normal refflection to discontinuous based volume. The higher coherency value, trace form will be more similar, and on the contrary, the lower coherency value means the different the trace form. Therefore, coherency can contrast the fault continuity, stratigraphic trap, and channel.Based on semblance coherency algorithm and structure of the eigen-value coherency algorithm, it proved that coherency can interpret faults which unclearly visible. Vertical aperture and parameter will clarify structural event and smoothing lateral effects, spatial aperture parameter will affirm structural event and visibility of lateral effect, and dip method will show detailed structure which formed from angle of reflector.
